Ashley Qualls, 17, of Detroit, runs a Web site called Whateverlife.com from her home. Whateverlife.com, basically a free MySpace layouts website, helps other teenagers decorate their MySpace pages. The site attracts more than 7 million visitors and 60 million page views a month, mostly teen girls, a very niche audience. In just two years it has generated more than $1 million in ad revenue. Tila Nguyen, also known as Tila Tequila, is an American model, entertainer, and singer residing in West Hollywood, California. She is known for her appearances in Stuff, Maxim, Time, her role as host of the Fuse TV show Pants-Off Dance-Off and her position as the most popular person on MySpace. She was raised in Houston, Texas.

Tila became famous mostly because of her popularity in MySpace. Nguyen’s career began at the age of eighteen when she was discovered at the Sharpstown Mall by a Playboy scout and was offered a chance to model nude for the magazine and did a test shoot,then eventually moved to Southern California and was featured as Playboy’s Cyber Girl of the week on April 22, 2002, and soon thereafter she became the first Asian Cyber Girl of the Month.

Nguyen gained further popularity through the import racing scene. Nguyen was featured on the cover of the April 2006 issue of Stuff magazine; in the interview, she claimed that her nickname “Tila Tequila” came about when she was in middle school after she had experimented with alcohol but then had a severe allergic reaction to it. On March 26, 2007, Nguyen announced in her MySpace blog that she would be filming a reality show for VH1. She owns websites Tila’s Hot Spot and TilaFashion.com. Nguyen used modeling as a stepping stone for other ventures. Nguyen released her first single “I Love U” through iTunes on February 27, 2007 which made its way to the top of the ITunes charts in 24 hours! (Source…)

Jessica Lee Rose, also known online as lonelygirl15 (her screenname in YouTube), is an American-born actress who grew up in New Zealand. She rose to popularity after playing the role of lonelygirl15, a fictional teenage homeschooled character named Bree who appeared in YouTube with a series of episodes.

To millions of online fans, she was first known as Bree, a 16-year-old, home-schooled American teenager. Unusually self-possessed and literate, Bree recorded her private thoughts into a digital video camera and posted them on YouTube under the name Lonelygirl15, where she attracted millions of fans. In August 2006, the videos were exposed as scripted fakes, and Bree was outed as 19-year old New Zealand-born actress Jessica Rose. But the news only served to increase her fame, and in the media, Rose became the poster child for the phenomenal success of YouTube and user-driven Web content.
